Task 2: Prepare for and Conduct Scenario Planning Session. This task consists of:

• Working Paper 6 - Scenario Development and Initial Analysis. Develop 4-5 scenarios based on interviews with State and local stakeholders and national leaders in transportation.


• Conducting a Scenario Planning Session where participants develop policies and strategies that achieve the objectives of the plan under the different scenarios.{completed}


• Working Paper 7 - Scenario planning summary and draft recommendations.

Task 3: Draft Long Range Transportation Business Plan. Combine all previous work into a draft plan for public review and comment. Includes general public meetings and meetings with the Transportation Advisory Committees at each Regional Planning Commission and the Chittenden County MPO.

Task 4: Public Comment Review and Final Draft Long Range Transportation Business Plan. Compile comments and issue a Final Draft Plan for review by the Advisory Committee and VTrans.

Task 5: Presentations and Refinements. Includes meetings with the Advisory Group, VTrans Executive Staff, regional planning commission and MPO, and the general public.

Task 6: Final Long Range Transportation Business Plan. Production and distribution of final document.
